Jeffrey Plevey named as Cardiff church collapse victim
Police have identified Jeffrey Plevey as the man who died following the collapse of the Citadel building in Splott, Cardiff on Tuesday.
Son and daughter tell ITV News their missing father was involved in church collapse
The family of a man missing following the collapse of a church in Cardiff have said their father was involved in the accident.
Josh and Lauren Plevey told ITV News three men were working on the site, including their father Jeff Plevey. They said their uncle was informed he was injured when the derelict church collapsed yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services worked into the evening to recover a body from the site. Two men escaped with minor injuries.
Police are currently waiting for the results of dental records and formal identification is yet to take place.
