Police are appealling for motorists' dashcam footage which might provide a clue about the identity of a mother who left her newly born baby in a bus shelter.

They want images from motorists who were on the A548 at Towyn, near Rhyl, between 11.30pm on Monday and 9am on Tuesday.

Police and hospital services are anxious to trace the Mum because she could need urgent treatment.

Motorist Daniel Braxton, 35, spotted the girl "blue and lifeless" but she gasped and opened her eyes when he rubbed her chest just after 7am on Tuesday.

The baby was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital.
