Man arrested following domestic assault in Prestatyn

A man has been arrested following a domestic assault in Prestatyn.

The incident took place at the junction of High Street and the alleyway next to the NatWest bank at around 10:30pm last night.

A 22-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody in at St Asaph. The female victim has been released from hospital following treatment for her injuries.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

We are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time and who may have witnessed the assault.
