Appeal after eight-year-old boy 'seriously' injured
Police are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision that left an eight-year-old boy seriously injured.
Dyfed powys Police says the incident happened on on Sydney Rees Way, Haverfordwest at around 3.45pm on Sunday afternoon.
A BT van (white Ford Transit) left the road and mounted the pavement and collided with three pedestrians - a female adult and two children.
The child was taken to Withybush Hospital and later transferred to the Heath Hospital in Cardiff.
He remains in a serious but stable condition. The woman and girl were conveyed to Withybush hospital with minor injuries, but discharged a short time later. The male driver of the van was taken to Withybush hospital as a precaution.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact PC 492 Stephen Thomas by calling 101.
