The Met Office is predicting heavy rain to continue with thunderstorms and strong winds across Wales.
The weather has already caused damage to buildings in Aberystwyth.
There is a yellow warning in place for wind in Monmouthshire, Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff, Newport, Caerphilly until 5pm tonight.
