Official launch for Champions League final in Cardiff

An official launch event is taking place in Cardiff tonight to mark the city as host of the 2017 Champions League final. The announcement was first made in June.

The match will be held at the Millennium Stadium and it is expected to be the highest profile event held in the city since the stadium was opened in 1999.

An estimated 165 million people watched the 2013/14 final between Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa in Portugal with a similar number expected to tune in to Cardiff's version of the game.
