Welsh athletes end Rio Olympics with record-breaking 10 medals

Team GB's Welsh athletes have ended their time at Rio with a record-breaking haul of 10 Olympic medals, including four golds.

It's the best ever performance of Welsh athletes in an Olympic games, surpassing the 7 medals secured at London 2012.

Taekwondo Olympic champion Jade Jones says she's amazed at the level of support she's received from people back home in Wales and her native Flint.

The 23-year-old was speaking after she won her second gold medal in the 57kg category last night, adding to the one the picked up four years ago in London.

That gold makes it four in total for Welsh athletes at this year's Olympics - a new record which surpasses the three won in London.
