Newport West MP Paul Flynn is to be appointed Shadow Welsh Secretary. He initially stepped to Labour's front bench on Thursday following mass resignations from the shadow cabinet.
Owen Smith resigns as Shadow Secretary for Work & Pensions
Welsh MP Owen Smith has resigned as Shadow Secretary for Work & Pensions and told Jeremy Corbyn that deputy Labour leader Tom Watson should take over in a caretaker role.
This follows the earlier resignations of Chris Bryant, Stephen Kinnock and Wayne David.
