A man from Llanelli has died after being tasered by police when emergency services were called to an incident.
An IPCC spokesman confirmed it was investigating the situation.
Dyfed Powys Police officers were called out by a member of the public who was concerned about the behaviour and welfare of a man who appeared to be injured. Officers attended and during engagement with the man, it is understood Taser was discharged.
The man became unresponsive and was subsequently pronounced dead. The IPCC has begun an independent investigation

Dyfed Powys Police have released a statement on the matter confirming they were called to a location in Llanelli on Tuesday evening, but haven't given any more information. A full investigation by the IPCC is underway.
