Queen wishes AMs 'every success' as she opens fifth Assembly at the Senedd

The Queen is officially opening the fifth Assembly. Crowds greeted her outside the Senedd as she arrived to give a speech to Assembly Members. She told them their 'responsibility is great and expectations are high,' but she had no doubt they'd continue to succeed.

Crowds turn out to welcome Her Majesty to Cardiff

The Queen, and the Duke Of Edinburgh were in Cardiff today for the opening of the fifth Assembly term. They were joined by the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as a number of visitors who came out to see them.
