'Gypsy boy' comment was 'a bit of banter' says Gatland

Warren Gatland has played down the comments made by England prop Joe Marler to Wales prop Samson Lee in Saturday's game calling it 'banter'.

Joe Marler was heard referring to Lee's gypsy heritage on the referee's microphone during the match.

He must now wait until Wednesday to find out if his verbal abuse during last Saturday's Six Nations clash is to result in any punishment.

But Gatland says he doesn't want to make an issue of it and Wales have accepted the England players apology.
