Man charged after death of baby and father in crash

A man has been charged with causing the death of a father and his baby son in a crash on New Year's Eve. Kyle Kennedy, 29, from Grangetown, is also charged with aggravated taking a vehicle without consent, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance. Simon Lewis died at the scene on Lamby Way. His baby son died after being delivered three months premature.

One dead and three injured in multi-vehicle crash

A man has died and three others injured in a crash in Cardiff.

Police said four vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened at 5.30pm yesterday afternoon on Lamby Way, near Rover Way.

The fatal crash happened on Lamby Way in Cardiff, near Rover Way.

A 33-year-old local man sustained fatal injuries at scene. A 32-year-old local woman and a three-year-old child were conveyed to hospital and later released. A 29-year-old local man sustained head injuries and has been detained at the University of Wales Hospital Cardiff. A fourth motor vehicle also sustained damage from debris during the collision.

The crash involved a blue Peugeot 307, a white Mercedes Sprinter, a Daihatsu Sirion and a Toyota Hilux.
