The First Minister has been in north Wales today visiting areas hit by floods over the past week.
Carwyn Jones said the level of flooding the country has seen is at a level never seen before and flood defence schemes will need to be assessed to see if they can cope with future bad weather.
Persistent rain has blocked drains and caused rivers to overflow in parts of north Wales.
