Strong winds warning as the remains of storm Abigail hit Wales
Coastguards at Milford Haven and Holyhead say winds reached Storm Force 10 last night with gusts up to 50 knots (57.5mph).
And the Met Office has issued a yellow 'be aware' warning, saying gusts could top 70mph on exposed coasts.
The windiest place in Wales was Capel Curig in Gwynedd at 6pm yesterday.
The wind means there are speed limits on both the Britannia Bridge on the A55 and the Severn Bridges. The former, along with the Cleddau Bridge, is closed to high-sided vehicles.
It's also predicting heavy rain and thunder.The warning runs until 10:00 and covers the following areas:

- Carmarthenshire
- Ceredigion
- Merthyr Tydfil
- Monmouthshire
- Neath Port Talbot
- Newport
- Pembrokeshire
- Powys
