Police say a mother thought to have given birth outside with no medical supervision delivered a baby girl - and are appealing to find them.
Police are continuing their appeal after a mother gave birth to a newborn baby who they believe might be in need of "urgent medical attention" after a possible birth outside in the open air, with no supervision.
Officers are working with partners in health and social services, as well as local GP surgeries and clinics, as part of their enquiries. Our priority remains focussed on the care and wellbeing of the mother and new baby.
Anyone with information that could assist in tracing them is asked to contact 101.
