Cardiff terrorist planning 'barbaric acts' killed, says PM

The Government says it has killed an Isis terrorist from Cardiff.

The Prime Minister has told The Commons that Reyaad Khan was killed in an air strike in Syria on the 21st August.

Reyaad Khan was from Cardiff.

David Cameron said Reyaad Khan was recruiting sympathisers and organising "babaric acts" with the intention of "murdering" British citizens.

In an act of self defence Reyaad Khan was killed by a drone as he was travelling in a vehicle.

There were no civilian casualties.

We took this action because there was no alternative... and no suggestion he would ever leave Syria.

– David Cameron
