Police are looking for a 47-year-old man after a woman was stabbed in Cardiff.

The incident happened on Penarth Road just before 10:30 this morning.

This was a serious incident and we are doing all we can to locate the suspect. However, I want to reassure the public that this was an isolated incident and there is no wider danger to the general public.

Anyone with any information concerning this incident is asked to call 999 immediately.
