Bridgend industrial estate blaze was 'accidental'
A fire which burned at Brynmenyn Industrial Estate in Bridgend for more than 24 hours started accidentally, South Wales Fire Service says.
A fire which burned at Brynmenyn Industrial Estate in Bridgend for more than 24 hours started accidentally, South Wales Fire Service says.
Bridgend Council says road restrictions are in place close to the Brynmenyn Industrial Estate while fire crews continue to tackle the blaze.
Nearby roads - including the A4065 - remain open, but access to the estate has been 'temporarily shut down' with some restrictions in place at the roundabout by the estate's entrance.
The council says its household recycling centre will be closed for the rest of the day and people should use alterative sites at Tythegston or Heol Ty Gwyn in Maesteg.
Rain clipping the far north through the evening but elsewhere staying dry with some sunny spells.
Public Health Wales figures show 25 more cases of the virus have also been confirmed.
