Grandfather Mark Jones, 45, has been given a 25 year minimum sentence for the murder of his five-week-old granddaughter Amelia Jones after being found guilty by a jury.
The court heard that Amelia Jones' surviving siblings live in fear of their grandfather.
In victim statements read to the court by the prosecuting barrister after Mark Jones, 45, was found guilty, her parents said they were "devastated" at having their family "ripped apart."
