Amelia Jones was just five weeks old when Mark Jones, 45, carried out a brutal attack in November 2012, leaving her with a fractured skull, a bleed to the brain, and other injuries to her ribs and legs.
Experts believe she had suffered a serious blow to the head as well as being violently shaken.
The court heard that Jones called his daughter first instead of dialling 999 when Amelia stopped breathing. She died in hospital two days later, aged just 41 days old.

Jones looked down, showing no emotion, as the guilty verdict was read out.
