Funeral held for boy killed in Alps ski fall

The funeral has been held for the seven-year-old boy who fell to his death while skiing in the French Alps. It is believed Carwyn Scott-Howell from Brecon became separated from his family on the slope before the fall.

Book of condolence opens in memory of Carwyn Scott-Howell

A book of condolence has opened at Brecon Cathedral for seven-year-old Carwyn Scott-Howell who died while on a ski holiday in the French Alps.

Members of the local community alongside pupils from Carwyn's school Ysgol y Bannau have already paid their respects.

Investigations are continuing in France into how the incident happened.

In a statement published yesterday, The Foreign Office said it is supporting Carwyn's family and they are expected to return home with his body in the next few days.
