Funeral held for boy killed in Alps ski fall

The funeral has been held for the seven-year-old boy who fell to his death while skiing in the French Alps. It is believed Carwyn Scott-Howell from Brecon became separated from his family on the slope before the fall.

School mourns loss of 'lively and likeable' pupil

The headteacher of the school attended by Carwyn Scott-Howell has described him as a "lively and likeable pupil."

The seven year old from Talybont-on-Usk, near Brecon, who died in a ski acciden tin the French Alps was a pupil at Ysgol y Bannau.

The school mourns the loss of one of its pupils, Carwyn Scott-Howell; a lively and likeable pupil who will be greatly missed.

We as Ysgol y Bannau's extended community, the staff, pupils, parents and governors, extend our deepest sympathy to the family; our thoughts and prayers are with them.
