South Wales Police say an 18-year-old man is currently in a 'life-threatening condition' after being assaulted at the Trecco Bay holiday park in Porthcawl.
The man, who is being treated at the University Hospital of Wales, was found outside a caravan.
Police were alerted at around 8am on Sunday morning, with the incident believed to have taken place from any time between late on the Saturday night until early on Sunday.
Anyone "who may have seen or heard anything suspicious" around the Cedars, Firs or Beeches areas in that time is asked to contact the police.
