Death of groundsman at Celtic Manor golf course 'tragic accident'
The death of a young groundsman who drowned at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport was an accident, an inquest jury has found.
Tributes paid as Celtic Manor lake death investigation continues
Gwent Police and Newport City Council are continuing to investigate the death of a 20-year-old man after the vehicle he was in went into a lake at the Celtic Manor resort on Tuesday.
The man, named locally as Ollie Floyd from Ross-on-Wye, died at the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport.
His family thanked friends and ground staff at the Celtic Manor Resort for their "overwhelming support".
On Facebook, Ross-on-Wye Rugby Club paid tribute to "a great friend and clubman".
"Always a legend never will be forgotten" read the tribute.
