Cardiff could hand debuts to new signings Scott Malone and Alex Revell, with both named in the squad.

The Bluebirds are also expected to recall Kenwyne Jones, Sean Morrison and David Marshall to the first team, after manager Russell Slade rested them in Cardiff's FA Cup win over Colchester.

Elsewhere in the Football League Newport are in action against Portsmouth at Rodney Parade.

The League 2 side are just two points off the automatic promotion places after beating Carlisle last weekend.
