Athletes from Team Wales are hoping to exceed their pre-Commonwealth target of twenty seven medals as they go into day seven of the games.
Yesterday Georgia Davies secured a gold in the 50 metres backstroke.
The current medal tally stands at:

- Bronze-13
Hoping to add to the total today, Sean McGoldrick will look to progress in the boxing ring and on the track Joe Thomas faces the 800m semi final this evening.
