A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, after the death of Cardiff Prison inmate Darren Thomas.
A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder, after the death of Cardiff Prison inmate Darren Thomas.
A spokesperson for the Prison Service has confirmed that 45-year-old Darren Thomas was found by staff in his cell at Cardiff Prison in the early hours of yesterday morning.
HMP Cardiff prisoner Darren Thomas (Date of birth: 13/08/68) was found by staff in his cell at around 3:25am on Thursday 6 March.
An ambulance attended and he was pronounced dead at 4am.
This is now a matter for the police.
