People in Rhyl have spent the day clearing up after floods devastated homes in the resort yesterday.
An investigation has also begun into how so much damage was done in a couple of hours.
The storm surge swept into the north coast - overwhelming the sea defences.
Residents who were evacuated yesterday have been returning to their damaged homes today, with some telling ITV News they would attempt to salvage whatever they could with Christmas just weeks away.
