Swansea Bay loses City of Culture bid
Swansea Bay has lost out to Hull in its bid to become the UK City of Culture 2017. Dundee and Leicester, were also in the running for the prestigious title.
Swansea is a 'Capital of Culture anyway'
David Phillips is the leader of Swansea Council. He believes Swansea IS a Capital of Culture, despite not being given the official title this morning.
