South Wales firefighters had to use thousands of litres of water to tackle a fire at a recycling centre in Llandow. The blaze started yesterday evening and took hours to get under control.
South Wales firefighters had to use thousands of litres of water to tackle a fire at a recycling centre in Llandow. The blaze started yesterday evening and took hours to get under control.
"Asbestos has not been confirmed at the site" said South Wales Fire & Rescue Service.
"However if asbestos is confirmed, this does not pose a safety risk to the public as heavy rainfall and water from firefighting will prevent the asbestos from spreading"
Rain clipping the far north through the evening but elsewhere staying dry with some sunny spells.
Public Health Wales figures show 25 more cases of the virus have also been confirmed.
