A bag of chips for 7p - just like in 1973

The family who run a Swansea fish and chip shop chain are celebrating 40 years in the business today, by rolling back their prices to those in 1973.

This is the 'Roma Fish Bar' in Gorseinon, where the family set up their first shop.

That means 5p for a small bag of chips, 7p for medium, and 9p for large.

Frank and Maria Romanello set up their original shop in Gorseinon, and now run five fish and chip shops around the Swansea area, with the help of their four sons.

The fish and chip shops have been family-run for 40 years.
