Gwent slavery investigation: search expected to finish soon

Officers investigation alleged slavery offences in Gwent are expected to complete their search of a site in Peterstone, Wentloog, in the next two days.

Police have been at the site since 23rd September trying to ascertain whether or not a body is buried there.

I’m grateful to the public for their continued support of this investigation. Since last week we have received a number of calls which have been of assistance and I continue to appeal to anyone who may have any information to contact us by calling 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 66 23/09/13.
