It might not be everyone's idea of fun, but to a woman from Aberystwyth, it's an exciting adventure.
Hannah Engelkamp wanted to walk right around Wales but didn't want to do it alone - so she bought a donkey to help her meet the challenge.
Hannah and Chico the gelding have spent their summer ambling through 700 miles of Wales' coast and countryside.
They're due to finish their trek in mid November.
Hannah Thomas meets them.
