Treorchy Male Choir's tribute to 'legendary' Cliff Morgan

Treorchy Male Choir describes Cliff Morgan as "a legendary figure, the like of which we will never see again".

Morgan had a close association with the choir throughout his life , with the choir even performing on the 1988 edition of 'This is Your Life' dedicated to him.

"I would give up the caps for playing for Wales if only I had had the ability to be the conductor of the Treorci!” he wrote in an article for the choir's magazine.

"The Treorchy Male Choir would like to send its deepest condolences to his family at this sad time" said choir chairman David Bebb.

“May they find some comfort in the knowledge that he was loved and respected by all those who had the pleasure of knowing him.”
