Hundreds gather to save services at Royal Glamorgan hospital

The consultation runs until July - with a decision being made in October

Hundreds of people gathered in the Rhondda this afternoon in a second protest aimed at saving specialist services at their local hospital, the Royal Glamorgan in Llantrisant.

A consultation is currently ongoing which could see specialist neonatal, children's and A+E services moved to other sites in south Wales.
