Newport County beat Wrexham 2-0 in the play-off final of the Blue Square Bet Premier at Wembley Stadium, ensuring promotion to the Football League.
Bus parade to celebrate Newport County's promotion
Newport County will celebrate their promotion to the football league with an open-top bus parade through the city later today.
The bus will leave Rodney Parade at 6pm and travel along Corporation Road, Clarence Place and up to the Civic Centre for a drinks reception.
The bus will leave the Civic Centre at 7pm and return to Rodney Parade where Newport's Mayor, Councillor John Guy, will present the club with a framed scroll congratulating them on their achievement.
