A man killed in a crash on the A465 near Neath has been named as 45-year-old Lyn Morgan, an electrician from Maesteg.
He died when the van he was driving collided with a lorry travelling in the opposite direction yesterday afternoon, near Resolven.
His family said: "Lyn was a hard-working man who came from nothing to build up a beautiful life for his family. He was a family man and he always gave us everything we ever wanted. In his spare time he loved to go shooting and was into his DIY, he was always doing something."
“Lyn meant everything to his family, he was our rock. He supported us all in everything we ever wanted to do. He lived for his kids and to them he was perfect. Lyn will be missed by all his family, friends and everyone who knew him.”
The crash happened after the lorry crossed the central reservation.
The lorry driver and a passenger in the van were also injured, and are at Swansea's Morriston Hospital.
