Craig Bellamy, who captained Cardiff City last night as they drew 0-0 with Charlton, said securing promotion to the Premier League his hometown club was his "best" achievement in football.
The Wales international and former Liverpool and Manchester City forward said, when the full-time whistle went, he dropped to his knees with exhaustion and "utter relief".
"I'm just so grateful to have played a small part at this club in such a memorable stage" [in Cardiff's history], he said.
