South Wales Fire and Rescue service will investigate what caused a blaze at a recycling plant on Newtown Industrial Estate in Cross Keys, Caerphilly.
The blaze broke out at GLJ Recycling. A spokesperson from the fire service said 700 tonnes of scrap metal and tyres are well alight.
4 pumps and a water bowser were in attendance at the scene, along with representatives from the Environment Agency.
Rain clipping the far north through the evening but elsewhere staying dry with some sunny spells.
Public Health Wales figures show 25 more cases of the virus have also been confirmed.
