Welsh artist paints X Factor Rylan - in fake tan
An artist from Ebbw Vale who wowed the judges on Britain's Got Talent by creating portraits out of marmite has now paid a cheeky tribute to another ITV talent show star - Rylan Clark.
Nathan Wyburn, who first showed off his skills at portraying celebrities with unusual materials on ITV Cymru Wales, used a tube of fake tan to paint Essex lad Rylan, who finished fifth in last year's X Factor.
"It was inspired by Rylan's obsession with fake tan, I thought it would make a very fitting portrait", Nathan said. "When I presented it to him he claimed it was the most unique gift he'd ever been given, and that it meant more than any cars or clothes he'd received."
Nathan, who is 22 and a fine arts graduate, has used Marmite to paint portraits of the Queen David Beckham, Michael Jackson, Kate Middleton, and our very own Andrea.
