Swansea City have beaten Stoke City 3-1 to move up to eighth in the Premier League. After a quiet first half, in which Michu went closest for the home side at the Liberty, Swansea flew out of the blocks in the second.
Left back Ben Davies opened the scoring, with a rare strike. Jonathan de Guzman then scored a fine free kick, and added his second with ten minutes to go, to make sure of the win for Michael Laudrup's men. Michael Owen got a consolation goal for Stoke in injury time.
