Remember the winter of 1962 and 1963?

We certainly like to have a good old moan about the weather, but mention the winter of 62 - 63 to those who are old enough to remember it and they would be well qualified to have a good complain.

It was the coldest winter ever, and when the snow fell, it stayed or a whole 3 months. Ruth Wignall has been delving through our archives and talking to some who say it was a winter they will never forget.
