Could this be the friendliest street in Wales?

The residents of one street in the Rhondda have been officially recognised for their community spirit.

A survey, run through a community network website called Streetclub, claims the families living in Fir Street, Ferndale are "the UK's best neighbours".

As well as social events such as fishing trips and day trips to London, there are also annual bonfire, Halloween and Christmas parties and even a "snow-ploughing day" where neighbours clear one another's snow.
