QDG soldiers' memorial service
A service of remembrance will be held today in memory of two Queen's Dragoon Guards killed in Afghanistan last year.
'He was so dedicated' - father speaks of soldier son
Ray Scanlon told ITV Wales that his son Richard, who was killed whilst on duty in Afghanistan in November, was 'so dedicated' and well-loved within his battalion. Lance Corporal Scanlon will be remembered at a service in Cardiff today, along with his colleague Lieutenant David Boyce.
