A police force has apologised to the family of a man who died when two trains collided in Powys.

A man has died and 15 people have been taken to hospital after two passenger trains collided near Llanbrynmair in Powys on Monday evening.

A large emergency service response is underway with paramedics, fire and rescue and police at the scene.
