Wales Railway

The railway was originally closed during the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and the track has not fully reopened since.

Cardiff Parkway is expected to welcome more than 800,000 passengers a year and offer eight trains an hour to Cardiff and Newport.

The five million pound plans would see a brand new station built near Bala's high street and the Bala Lake Railway line extended by three-quarters of a mile.
