Around sixty residents of an apartment building in Cardiff were evacuated on August 29 after a gas-suspected incident.

Emergency staff at Morriston Hospital see a spike in numbers during the bank holiday. They are advising people to stay safe to avoid a trip to hospital.

New data has show there were 1,964 incidents of verbal abuse against emergency workers in Wales between April 2019 and December 2023.
