Ospreys wing Keelan Giles is a 'huge talent'- Leigh Halfpenny

Keelan Giles has been described as "a huge talent" ahead of his possible Wales debut against Japan.

The Ospreys wing will emulate peers like George North and Tom Prydie by making his Wales bow as an 18-year-old if he features at the Principality Stadium next Saturday.

Giles, who has scored eight tries in just five games for the Ospreys this season, was recently promoted to Wales' autumn Test squad.

And the smart money is on him being involved in the match-day 23 when Japan faces Wales for a first time in Cardiff since 2007.

Keelan is doing well. He has put in some fantastic performances for the Ospreys. He is a huge talent.

I remember seeing him play one Sunday morning at mini rugby level - under-eights or under-nines, I think - and you could see there was something there.

From my experience (Test debut), I remember the guys in the squad just made it so easy for me to come in and feel comfortable.

Ross Moriarty impressed by Wales' response to pressure

Ross Moriarty admitted the pressure had been on Wales to deliver a performance and result after they rediscovered the winning habit by beating Argentina.

Wales' first victory for eight months - a 24-20 success against the Pumas in Cardiff - lifted some of the gloom that descended following Australia's Principality Stadium stroll seven days earlier.

The Wallabies' 32-8 demolition left Wales reeling from a heaviest home defeat since New Zealand put 45 points on them 10 years ago.

Obviously, it was a tough week (after Australia). It was a heavy defeat. The pressure was on us to bounce back. We stuck together and did that.

Everybody is going to have criticism at some point in their careers. You have to deal with it and use that to your advantage in a way. It was a good reaction against a good Argentina team, which makes it even better.

We looked at their forwards during the week. They have had a lot of experience in the Rugby Championship and are a very strong outfit.

We targeted that, and I felt we dealt with their ball-carriers well. It shows the difference when you front up, stop them in their tracks and don't give them easy yards.
