Thousands have turned out for the second day of Roald Dahl festivities.

Yesterday, one event in the 'City Of The Unexpected' festival had to be cancelled after large crowds showed up in the centre of Cardiff.

Part of today's attractions included a huge pajama party in Bute Park and the giant peach continued making its way through the city.

The sheer number of people attending the City of the Unexpected in Cardiff today has meant one of the events has been cancelled.

The tightrope walk had been scheduled for today but due to the volume of the crowd it wasn't possible to go ahead.

Today and tomorrow weird and wonderful events will be taking place in Cardiff, to mark 100 years since Roald Dahl's birth.
