Severn Bridge toll prices to increase from January 1st

The rise follows the trend in recent years of increased prices for vehicles of all types to cross the Severn.

According to the Severn River Crossing PLC (SRC) the increases are stipulated in the 1992 Severn Bridges Act and adjusted by the Retail Price Index, which was published last month.

Severn bridge tolls to rise from midnight tonight

From midnight tonight, it will cost you more to get into Wales via either of the Severn bridges.

For cars the toll goes up 10 pence tomorrow to £6.60. For small vans and small buses it's up 10p to £13.20 and for heavy good lorries and buses it's up 30 pence to £19.80.
